My name is Christa aka Chrissi! I have 2 beautiful, strong, smart and witty children, Declan (7) and Dawson (6). I’ve been married to the love of my life (Brent) for 9 years and I’m still trying to figure out how I managed to get him to marry me. In 2012 graduated from The University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelors degree in Emerging Media + Communications. My EMAC degree really helped shape my photography career into what it is today, so I’m not THAT upset I’m still paying off student loans. After graduating, I worked in sales for about year, bought a house, got pregnant with my sweet son, had my baby boy 9 months later and couldn’t stand the thought of leaving him for work. That’s when I decided to get a camera.

My dad actually gifted me my first REAL camera and I’m forever thankful. He has never doubted my ability to do anything and has always encouraged me to be the best! 5 years later and my little side hustle has turned into a full time career! It’s funny how I look back remember all the times life was trying to tell me what I was destined to do; making my sisters model for me, being known as the girl in school who ALWAYS had a camera, taking photography courses in high school, editing a raw image with any kind of editing software, looking at and cherishing old photographs. To say that I love my job is an understatement! Taking pictures is an undeniable passion of mine. Capturing you and your family is an absolute honor. When you post your pictures on social media my heart grows a little. Making you feel beautiful and confident is a top priority of mine.
